*Next class session starts September 11th, 2023! Email us to get notified when class registration is live.

Through the community programs and education at KPC, individuals of all ages, backgrounds, and skill levels come together to explore the boundless realm of the arts. Whether you’re a seasoned professional or someone who enjoys belting tunes in the shower or strumming imaginary guitar chords, we embrace and encourage your creative endeavors through workshops, classes, groups, trainings, and events.

Our diverse offerings include instrument classes, guided jam sessions, audio engineering, songwriting, and vocal improvisation and technique. We have valuable partnerships with esteemed organizations such as The Rhapsody ProjectThe Bushwick Book Club SeattleYouth Eastside ServicesWintergrass Music Festival, West Coast Drum Shop, and No Matter Studios. These collaborations enable us to bring in top-tier teaching artists who possess exceptional skills and come from various backgrounds and experiences. You’ll have the opportunity to learn from the finest talents in the area, making your musical journey all the more enriching.

For professional musicians and those entering the industry, our workshops and trainings will focus on tools of the trade to help make your career successful and sustainable while growing your support system. Trainings will include running your band as a business, marketing tips and prioritizing platforms, publishing and licensing your music, submitting to tv and film, and working with booking agents and talent buyers at various venues (with a list of venues, what kind of music they book, and who to contact). You’ll also find a supportive and encouraging space that offers new ways to collaborate and create with your peers in ways you may not find in the day-to-day hustle.

We are all artists, and we all have a story to tell. Let’s tell it together.
