Description

Castle’s Celtic Christmas Celebration is a Northwest Holiday Tradition. Legendary electric violinist Geoffrey Castle brings the Christmas magic with a dazzling concert, featuring the Seattle Irish Dance Company, the All-Star Celtic Night Band, special guests from the Seattle Opera, and known Irish troublemaker Dan Connolly. With music drawn from his two critically acclaimed holiday releases, and a “jaw dropping” live show, Castle’s Celtic Christmas Celebration is not to be missed. In past years, the concerts have also featured surprise special guest appearances by Rock and Roll Hall of Fame members Alan White, Roger Fisher, Mike Derosier, Steve Fossen, and more.

Artist Bio

Geoffrey Castle is a pioneer on the electric six-string violin. From his beginnings as a street musician in New York City and Paris, he rose to play in the Tony Award winning Broadway production of M. Butterfly. A theme of Castle’s career is to destroy people’s pre-conceived notions of what is possible on a violin, which he does every time he takes the stage.

A bandleader and solo artist—with several critically acclaimed releases on his own Twisted Fiddle Music label—Geoffrey Castle has also managed to share stages with an illustrious group of musicians including Blues Traveler, all of the original and current members of Heart, Buddy Miles, and Alan White of Yes.
