About the Artist
Erin Rae Murray has lots of feelings, writes songs about them, and plays them with her friends.
In a short time, this Seattle Bluesy Americana singer-songwriter, has gone from a south end open mic to bringing her project, Erin Rae & the Heartbeets, to one of the biggest festivals in Seattle: Capitol Hill Block Party.
In the mean time, they have been highlighted by NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert Contest, played in front of hundreds at the famed Emerald City club, Neumos, and won fans of all kinds with their welcoming anthems of personal growth. The Heartbeets play raw-yet-relatable music. You will hear entreaties to raise your chin and love yourself. Each of the band’s songs has a story, like traditions passed between family members. Indeed, they are embraces.
