As a devout Brahmin, Mumbai rickshaw driver Shukla has never so much as lusted after a woman. As he is wedded to an extremely shy young bride, the two struggle to discover love, connection, and intimacy in the stifling confines of his family’s one room chawl.
Director Biography: Siddhartha Jatla is a writer, director, and cinematographer living in Mumbai, India. Born to a director father and an actress mother, he graduated from the Film and Television Institute of India, specializing in cinematography. Jatla’s first short film, The Artist, premiered at the Busan International Film Festival in 2012.
