Rock This Town is a family-friendly concert featuring the 2017 SAI Champs, Frenzy; the 2006 BHS Champs, Vocal Spectrum; and the amazing ladies of a cappella Joy from right here in Kirkland. Prepare to laugh, love and remember as you listen to a cappella music from throughout the 20th century. Frenzy Quartet has been winning Audience Choice awards for years. One never quite knows what they’ll do but you know it will be good! Vocal Spectrum has been pleasing audiences for over 10 years with their mix of classic songs, new spins on old songs, and exquisite harmonies. Last, but certainly not least, a cappella Joy is a chorus from right here in Kirkland that’s qualified to compete on the international stage for the second time. You’ll have a great time and we appreciate your support on our quest to compete in Las Vegas in October.
More Bang For Your Buck! As of August 1st, we’re pleased to announce that we are adding 2017 BHS Silver Medalists, Signature Quartet as well as our own local Voices Inc chorus who recently placed 14th in the world at the 2017 BHS contest. Signature recently brought the competition’s crowd to tears with their stunning rendition of “Dance With My Father” and their powerful and soulful sound is too big to be captured by videos so an opportunity to see them perform live is well worth the journey. Under Director Travis Tabares, Voices Incorporated is an a cappella chorus in the Pacific Northwest made up of passionate singers from across WA, OR and BC. Formed only two years ago, they recently competed at the international level for the first time and came in 14th.

We are an active women’s a cappella chorus from the greater Seattle area. Our members range in age from 18 to 70-something and come from all walks of life. We share the same love of music and dedication to excellence that have come to define Ajoy. We are always looking for new members, and welcome any woman, regardless of age, race, religion, nationality, ethnicity, sexual orientation or gender expression. So if you love to sing, and are eager to work hard, check us out some Monday night.
AJoy belongs to Sweet Adelines International (SAI), an organization of 30,000+ women barbershop singers world-wide. The chorus is based in Kirkland, Washington and is a Chapter of the North by Northwest SAI Region #13 which includes Washington, Alaska, Oregon, western Idaho, and Montana. Originally founded as the Lakeside Chorus in 1958, we have a proud tradition of musical excellence, education, and fun!
