AMERICANA • AMERICAN FOLK REVIVAL
Since 1960 The Brothers Four have played thousands of concerts, sung for four different U.S. Presidents at the White House, performed with symphony orchestras and jazz stars and toured dozens of foreign countries as America's 'Musical Ambassadors to the World.' These national icons return to KPC after a one year hiatus for a Kirkland homecoming filled with familiar tunes and new discoveries.
Internationally acclaimed, the Brothers Four are America's Folk Musical Ambassadors to the World performing for presidents, jazz stars, orchestras and dozens of foreign countries.
Leaders in the folk revival musical movement, and one of the few groups from those times still performing today, they remain one of the best known and most popular. Their musical score includes million-sellers such as: "Greenfields," "Yellowbird," "Across the Wide Missouri," and their hit, "The Green Leaves of Summer," which debuted in the popular motion picture The Alamo.
