Internships require a weekly commitment of 10-20 hours for a duration of at least 4 weeks. EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES Box Office Associate Supervisor: Box Office Manager Classification: Year Round, Permanent Part Time Position Summary: Assist in all aspects of subscription/multi-pack and single ticket operations.
Essential Functions: Handle all facets of ticket sales, including window sales and telephone sales. Handle and be accountable for cash. Process ticket exchanges. Reconcile each day's sales, balancing computer reports with income. Run computer-generated sales reports as required. Handle all facets of subscription/multi-pack ticket sales. Process large volumes of information in as short a period of time as possible while maintaining close attention to detail and accuracy. Provide excellent customer service. Have a strong knowledge of KPC presented, partner and rental shows, and be able to convey that information to the public.
Other Responsibilities: Assist Box Office Manager with additional activities as necessary. Assist the public with general queries i.e., directions, local restaurants and parking information. Troubleshoot computer problems. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Education, Experience and Skills Required: Box Office experience and familiarity with ticketing software programs preferred; Strong customer service skills; Strong verbal and communication skills; Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Word and Excel; Ability to prioritize and work efficiently; Experience dealing with cash accountability; Ability to handle periods of routine work; Strong interpersonal skills; Ability to work well under pressure
