INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Title: Development Intern

Description: Kirkland Performance Center seeks a Development Intern.

Timeline: January 2008 – July 2008
Commitment: 5-15 hours a week. Partial telecommuting OK.
Compensation: $100/mo travel expenses


KPC is seeking an intern to work primarily with our Development Department, and secondarily with our Marketing and Public Relations Department. Scheduling is flexible.

Responsibilities include:
Executing KPC Fundraising Campaigns, Online Auctions and Special Event planning
Working with online fundraising platforms
Donor research and targeting
Tracking donor information in KPC's proprietary database
Writing original promotional copy
Authoring and executing email blasts
Promoting KPC events online
Other duties as assigned

Preferred qualifications:
Strong writing skills
Strong attention to detail
Familiarity with MS Office
Familiarity with mass email clients
Experience with InDesign or equivalent graphics software a plus
Experience with Google AdWords a plus
Involvement or interest in the performing arts preferred
