Ticketing Policies & Patron Information

BOX OFFICE HOURS

  • The Box Office is open from 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM Tuesday – Friday. For performances, Box Office and Will Call open with the Lobby 1 hour before showtime and close 30 minutes after the show begins. Will Call tickets are available for pick up beginning one week before the performance.  
  • During performances, the Lobby opens to patrons 1 hour before the scheduled showtime and seating begins 30 minutes before the curtain rises. 
  • KPC Box Office, Will Call, and theater access close 30 minutes after the scheduled start of the show. Late seating after 30 minutes cannot be guaranteed. 

 

GENERAL TICKET INFORMATION

Ticket Resellers 

  • Don’t get scammed! Please only purchase tickets directly from our Box Office or Event Calendar to ensure a fair price and access to the show! Any tickets to a KPC Event purchased through a ticket reseller site are invalid. We do not authorize the sale of tickets on StubHub, tickets-center.com, Ticketmaster, or any other ticketing sites.
  • Reselling, brokering, or profiting from the sale of tickets to KPC events is strictly prohibited. Any tickets known to be brokered, altered, or resold will be denied entry.

Fees, Exchanges, and Refunds 

  • Ticket fees are dependent on the price of the individual ticket. Fees apply whether tickets are purchased online, over the phone, or in person. 
  • Free exchanges are available to all ticket holders. Exchanges must be made two hours before the start of the performance. Exchanges cannot be processed during active performances or after the show has occurred. 
  • Refunds are only available for shows that have been fully canceled or postponed to a date that can no longer be attended by the ticket buyer. 
  • Have tickets to a show you can no longer attend? You can exchange them for another performance or donate the sum as a tax-deductible contribution to Kirkland Performance Center. 

Will Call and Digital Tickets 

  • Will Call tickets are available for pick-up one week prior to the show. A valid photo ID is necessary to retrieve ticket orders at Will Call. 
  • Digital delivery arrives with your confirmation email as well as the Know Before You Go reminders sent 1 day before the performance. These tickets can be scanned directly from your smartphone. 

Children and Infants 

  • All patrons, regardless of age, must have their own ticket to the performance. Children may sit in the laps during the performance but will not be permitted into the auditorium without a valid ticket of their own. This is a requirement of capacity limitations and building safety restrictions.  
  • Strollers are not permitted inside the auditorium. Strollers can be parked in the lobby by the Box Office for the duration of the performance.  
  • Children and teens under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.  
  • Age restrictions vary by performance or artist. Any age restrictions will be listed on individual event pages as needed. 

 

ACCESSIBLE SERVICES

Accessible Seating 

  • KPC has six removable ADA seats and six companion seats available for all shows, located at the top of the auditorium. The remainder of the seats in the auditorium are only accessible via stairs.  
  • Walkers and wheelchairs cannot be stored in the rows or behind seats. House Management will assist to store these items to the side of the stairs so they do not block traffic areas.  

Bag Policy

Listening Devices 

  • KPC has assisted listening devices that utilize an FM audio feed and headphones for the user. Our devices do not currently link to cochlear implant devices or t-coils. If you would like to borrow an assisted listening device, please select that option in your ticket transaction or contact the KPC Box Office. 

Sensory Needs 

  • KPC has a sensory-controlled seating area with the ability to control lighting and volume. Patrons with sensory needs may request the use of this space during a performance. Access to this room is available upon request. 

ADA Parking and Drop-Off 

  • Accessible parking spots are shared with the Peter Kirk Community Center on the west side of the building. Spaces are limited, so arriving early is the best option. Additionally, the area immediately in front of our lobby is available for drop-offs and loading. 

Service Animals 

  • Service animals specifically trained to assist with a medical need or disability are permitted. Emotional support animals or general pets are not permitted.  

 

DISCOUNTS & PROMOTIONS

  • To apply a discount code to your purchase, look for the “Promotional Code” box and enter the code before completing the purchase. Promo and discount codes cannot be applied once payment is processed.

CONCESSIONS & FOOD/DRINKS

  • KPC Concessions offers a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and snacking options during most events. And yes, your Concessions purchases can go in the auditorium! 
  • Outside food and drink is not permitted in the auditorium. Please leave leftovers or other food items in your vehicles before arriving at the theater. 

 

DIRECTIONS & PARKING

KPC does not have a designated parking lot. Thankfully, parking in Kirkland is plentiful and easy to find. The Municipal Parking Garage, located next to the Kirkland Library, offers free public parking and is a quick 2-minute walk to the theater. Street parking and other paid lots are also available within quick walking distance.  

KPC is conveniently located off I-405 or SR-520, in the heart of Kirkland. KPC is also easily accessible by public transit. The closest stop is the Kirkland Transit Center next to the Kirkland Library. 

PLEASE NOTE: Downtown Kirkland is inundated with road construction through Winter 2027. Please plan accordingly for traffic delays and/or detours.
