Throughout this past season, Kirkland Performance Center (KPC) has been undergoing a re-brand. What does this mean and how does it affect you as a patron? Branding is an important part of the success of any organization, and KPC needed a fresh, new, and exciting brand to represent the theater and the performances it presents. You may have noticed changes to KPC’s look, feel, and marketing materials this past season, and now with the launch of this new website the re-branding process is complete. As a patron we hope that our new brand will make you feel the warm and intimate experience our venue has to offer. This re-brand was important for KPC to stay relevant in the ever changing art world, and is a process that must happen as our organization changes and grows. Though KPC is still the same theater you know and love, we just now have a new look with our new marquee colors, a new logo, consistent marketing materials, new brand colors and fonts, and a new website that is easier to use.
This new brand was carefully thought out and created to emulate all that KPC is. The process of re-branding began as our Marketing & Communications Manager sent out surveys to patrons at the end of our 2014-15 season, and those responses helped to create our values and the brand we now have implemented. From there we started to slowly transition away from our old brand and into the new one throughout this past 2015-16 season. Now we are excited to have all of these changes in place, and moving forward to be consistent in all of our communications with you, our patrons. With this new brand, KPC will be able to show the community what we have become, and will continue gain the trust of both current and new patrons. If you have any questions about the process we went through, or about our new brand, please feel free to ask.
