Get ready for our annual gala and auction!

The air is crisp and the leaves are changing here on the Eastside, as Kirkland Performance Center’s staff and board members are working tirelessly to bring our beloved donors, patrons, and future donors a gala that they are sure to never forget. “We can be heroes just for one day” are the fitting song lyrics by the legendary David Bowie that we have chosen to be our theme for this year’s auction, and will undoubtedly echo throughout our epic upcoming 2017-18 season at KPC. We think of our donors as heroes of the arts, and believe they deserve to be treated as such.

This year’s gala and auction, We Can Be Heroes, will take place on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at the elegant and tranquil Hyatt Regency Bellevue. The evening will begin with cocktails, music, and a silent auction filled with magical trips, experiences, and of course, lots of wine. Our wine pull was a big hit last year and we’re bringing it back again with even more first-rate wines to stake your chances on!

When you walk into the ballroom for dinner you will be transported into a world of glam rock— Bowie’s infamous style echoing through every last detail of the décor. Enjoy a delicious meal as you lend your heroic support to aid in the continuation of bringing world class music acts right to our backyard here on the Eastside. We know our guests love live music as much as we do, so we’ve booked the incredible Seattle Rock Orchestra, Geoffrey Castle, and Creme Tangerine to entertain and keep the party going well after the live auction has ended. We hope you will join us in what we know will be our most magical auction and gala to date!
