A collective sigh, a relief of stress, the resonance of harmony, and a supportive community. The KPC choir exists as a group of individuals from diverse backgrounds, beliefs, neighborhoods, and experience coming together to strengthen and invigorate the core of our community through song. Larger than its organization or space, the choir extends beyond the walls of KPC and through the lives of our family, friends, businesses, and organizations.

Choir Description: The non-auditioned KPC Community Choir is for those who love to sing regardless of musical experience, ability, or what people have told them about their singing voice. As if you’re singing around the campfire with family and friends, we come to experience music together.

We’ll provide the music with familiar tunes like Take Me Home Country Roads, The Parting Glass, Wild Mountain Thyme, Dona Nobis Pacem, and others. Directed by Grammy nominated music educator, choral conductor, and folk musician, Ailisa Newhall, and accompanied by a professional band, the season will culminate with a concert open to the public.
