KPC is thrilled to welcome legendary American blues musician Charlie Musselwhite. Starting out in the early 60s, from Mississippi to Memphis, Chicago to California, Musselwhite’s life has been steeped in the blues. More than 20 albums later he is at the top of his game, a revered elder statesman of the blues nowhere near ready to hang up his harps, his depth of expression as a singer and an instrumentalist unexcelled and only growing deeper.

 

Sep 13, 2024: Wild Rumors: A Fleetwood Mac Experience

Wild Rumours – based in Seattle, WA – coalesced around the concept of performing entire albums, faithfully and in sequence. The core of a Wild Rumours show features all the classic material from both the 1975 Fleetwood Mac and 1978 Rumours albums, along with other hit songs from the FM catalog. Focusing on the apex Buckingham-Nicks era material, Wild Rumours creates an authentic concert experience for the audience with dramatic crescendos and moments of quiet intimacy. The band, comprised of an all-star cast of Northwest musicians, takes liberty with the material to add their personal stamp on some of the greatest pop music ever created.

Sep 18, 2024: An Evening With Grammy Award-winning Rebirth Brass Band

For almost 4 decades, the Grammy winning Rebirth Brass Band has been “stunning” fans with a fiery live show and a rich musical catalog. Their trademark sound pays homage to the New Orleans brass band tradition while weaving a tapestry that combines elements of jazz, funk, soul, R&B and the sounds from the streets they grew up on. From their legendary 25+ year run of Tuesday nights at the Maple Leaf to stages all over the world, Rebirth is the soundtrack of the Crescent City and her premier musical ambassador.

 

Sep 24, 2024: Marc Ribot Quartet feat. Mary Halvorson

Marc Ribot, who the New York Times describes as “a deceptively articulate artist who uses inarticulateness as an expressive device,” has released 25 albums under his own name over a 40-year career, exploring everything from the pioneering jazz of Albert Ayler to the Cuban son of Arsenio Rodríguez. His solo release, “Silent Movies” (Pi Recording 2010) has been described as a “down-in-mouth-near master piece” by the Village Voice and has landed on several Best of 2010 lists including the LA Times and critical praise across the board, and 2014 saw the monumental release: Marc Ribot Trio Live at the Village Vanguard (Pi Recordings), documenting Marc’s first headline and the return of Henry Grimes at the historical venue in 2012 and included on Best of 2014 lists such as Downbeat Magazine and NPR’s 50 Favorites.

Oct 27, 2024: Jenner Fox Band Featuring the Music Of Paul Simon

The Jenner Fox band is a Paul Simon tribute band of all-star musicians from the Pacific Northwest. The five-piece band features piano, organ, electric guitar, bass, dobro, acoustic guitar, and layered vocal harmony. They perform a range of Simon’s music from Garfunkle to Graceland and everywhere in between. Come prepared to sing along, groove, and celebrate some of the finest music from a true American original.

 

Nov 13, 2024: The Man In Black: A Tribute To Johnny Cash

With his strikingly similar looks, baritone voice, and spot-on mannerisms, Shawn Barker’s uncanny resemblance to the original “Man In Black” revitalizes the true character and spirit of Mr. Cash himself, one of America’s greatest musical icons, for a truly one-of-a-kind show.
