About the Bands

About General Mojo’s: Seven years ago, the shimmering psych-pop of General Mojos found life in the damp basements of Seattle’s house show scene. In the years since, band members have come and gone—but bandleader Dune Butler has remained the glue, continuing to craft and perform hypnotic, flower-powered soundscapes with original members Eric Vanderbilt-Matthews, Sam Veatch, and David Salonen, as well as a broadening community of visionary artists.

This flexible line-up and widening scope of influences has ushered in a new era for General Mojos, captured on their forthcoming self-produced album, “Cycles”. The album is centered around cycles and patterns, be it positive or destructive, that everyone must deal with. Cascading synth lines, atmospheric vocals, and fuzzed-out guitars highlight the buzzed blur of performing, the energy of a dance floor, the short-lived thrill of escapism, sourness of lost opportunities and relationships, and the awareness of cycles in life and choosing to reconcile with them or not. Contributions from recent members Skyler Mehal (guitar) and William Mapp (drums) help to add new spices into the cosmic stew of the Mojo soundscape.

Though one single from “Cycles” is out now (Ships in the Night), the release of the rest of the album remains uncertain during the uncertain times of 2021. So, keep your ears open and your mind prepared for the next sonic journey from General Mojo’s.

About Vaudeville Etiquette: Vaudeville Etiquette is Seattle Americana Rock. Magnetic, provocative, and dynamic with deep roots and classic rock chemistry. Singer/songwriter duo Tayler Lynn and Bradley Laina met in college and began collaborating when they realized they both had a similar love for The Rolling Stones record, Exile on Main Street. The pair lifted the band name from an old celluloid slide of a lost silent film and Vaudeville Etiquette was born. They began as a duo playing shows in Seattle, WA then quickly expanded into the show-stopping Americana rock quintet that has steadily built a loyal fanbase playing legendary clubs, concert halls, and festivals across the US and Europe.

Vaudeville Etiquette has been covered in USA Today, CMJ, KEXP, PASTE, Relix, Yahoo! Music, American Songwriter, No Depression, Vinyl District, and more, including the Seattle Times, who called Vaudeville Etiquette “Seattle music’s bright new face.” Their music is featured in Spotify curated playlists, iTunes “New & Noteworthy” spotlight, and in Starbucks stores worldwide.
