FM Collective and Rain Light Fade Join Forces to Present a Benefit Concert Supporting MusiCares

“With the spectacular success of Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden and Nirvana, the Northwest music scene is a bona fide phenomenon, a success story in a nation starving to hear one.”

–The Rolling Stone, 1992

Welcome back to Grunge City.

Thirty years after Cameron Crowe captured a moment in cultural and musical history with the hit movie, Singles, FM Collective and Rain Light Fade are excited to announce The Singles Soundtrack Experience— a virtual concert benefitting MusiCares, an organization that provides a safety net of critical assistance for music people in times of need.

The Singles Soundtrack Experience, available on demand until February 28th at 11:59 PM, will be a musical celebration, allowing fans to re-live the soundtrack of a movie and movement that defined an era and a city. Livestreamed through Kirkland Performance Center this special benefit concert will feature some of the artists that were instrumental in putting the grunge scene and Seattle, on the map.

The concert will be performed by Seattle recording artists Rain Light Fade, who will be joined by additional artists, including: Ben Smith (Heart, Lovemongers) Mike Inez (Alice in Chains), Glenn Cannon(Windowpane/Bruiser Body/The Damage Done), Jeff Fielder (Mark Lanegan Band, Amy Ray), Eric Lilavois (Producer, London Bridge Studio), Jeff Rouse (Loaded, Alien Crime Syndicate), Ryan Waters (Sade, Liv Warfield), Krystle Pyette & Brittany Lauren (Limberlost), Kyyle Cort (Superfekta), Kathy Moore (Super Power Tria), Aisha (from the all-female Soundgarden tribute band, Bleedtogether), and a special welcoming from Nancy Wilson (Heart, Lovemongers).

Images from famed Seattle photographer, Karen Mason-Blair, will also be featured throughout the show to visually capture the zeitgeist of the time and scene.

Each ticket allows one screen to view the concert. You will have 4 hours to watch the concert once you click into the link in the confirmation e-mail. Do not open this link until you are ready to view the concert.
