Join Dr. Ed Powell and the Washington Wind Symphony as we end the season on a reflective note by paying homage to the memory of those who gave their lives to protect our freedom. As we approach Memorial Day, we’ll use beautiful, familiar melodies to honor the sacrifice of the many Americans who made a difference in our lives and won’t soon be forgotten.
Artist Bio
The Washington Wind Symphony comprises 45-50 dedicated musicians who gather once per week for the enjoyment of the preservation of classic wind band literature. Performing a four concert season at Kirkland Performance Center, the musicians have gained popularity on the Eastside of Seattle.
