Description
Before Linda Ronstadt became one of America’s most celebrated voices, she was a young girl growing up on a farm in Tucson, surrounded by music. From Mexican songs played by her father to opera, Gilbert and Sullivan, and the traditional music of her heritage, those early influences helped shape an artist who would refuse to be defined by a single genre.
Join us for a musical journey through the extraordinary life and career of Linda Ronstadt — an 11-time Grammy Award winner, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee, and one of the most successful female recording artists in U.S. history.
Featuring more than 20 beloved songs spanning folk, rock, country, the Great American Songbook, and the Spanish-language music of her Mexican heritage, this celebration brings Ronstadt’s remarkable musical legacy to life.
Featuring award-winning vocalists Mireya Ramos (Flor de Toloache), V. Contreras, and Brenna Bruce, with Mariachi Mi Tierra Seattle and special guests. Read more about the featured vocalists www.lindathemusical.com
